Q: Why am I doing this?

A: Kindness is Free.

There comes a point in life, when you resolve is so strong and you want to give in to dark thoughts.

There is a moment before making that choice. "A Choice" you can't undo.

In that moment, sometimes all you need: is a reason to smile.

A moment of Laughter. A moment of Acknowledgement.

A reason to choose a better tomorrow for yourself.

A reason to pull yourself out of bed. A reason to look forward to putting on your socks and tying up your shoelaces.

A reason to TRY AGAIN.

Q: What Am I doing?

A: My Best LMAOOO

How can I help those around me, If i don't even help myself?

How can I maintain friendships with others, when I can't even get a long with myself?

I do want to be alone. I don't want to push people away. Yet I am inclined to do so.

I have spent a majority of my life asking myself these questions.

Eventually I decided that I had to change, so I started to prioritize my mental health and personal growth.

However once I did so: many of my friends and family no longer wished to associated with me. I respect their choice, and wish them all the best in life :)

What genuinely shocked me, was how many true-friends I had backing me up ... and to my surprise, it was not Zero.

Those whom I genuinely felt safe opening up too; supported me.

They inspired me to, try my best. More Importantly, they were also there to help me get through hard times.

These are the people that saw me make mistake after mistake, and were still there to pick me up and help me learn from downfalls.

I want to continue my healing journey, and document the process.

At the end of the day, I want to have proof that getting better is possible.

for myself, and for those also fighting, to choose a better tomorrow.

Q: How Do you Achieve this?

A: One Smile at a time.

What initially inspired me to push forward? My passions.

At my Care, I am still the same, "weird anime kid that likes stories and dress up" that I was in middle school.

The frustration of not being able to tell a story of my own, was plaguing my dreams.

I could not sleep and eventually lost my creative flow.

I felt no joy for life. why? because I wasn't putting my ideas on paper.

I was letting time go by and stories gone untold.

it was aggravating.

As I progress on my Healing Journey, I will share my story and vision in the only way I know how: Talking about it.

If I can't Say it I will Write it.

If I can't find the Words,

I will Draw it.

If i can't Draw it now, one day I will be able to.

but for now, all I can do is document my progress.

origin story

who is Kimiko?

Attending Anime Conventions and Cosplaying since 2010

Mama Chibi learned how to sew from her mother (my grandmother) who was a trained seamstress. She later passed down that knowledge to me. I learned to sew on the very same sewing machine that Mama Chibi learned to sew with.
they definitely don't make sewing machine like they used too. that's for sure.

Despite all this knowledge, my earliest costumes were made primarily of duct tape and paper...

My early love for Cosplay sparked a passion for Story Telling particularly through Character design

My personal style is heavily inspired by my favorite fiction characters. Over the past 15 years, I have been exploring "Wearing my Heart on my Sleeve" as both a fashion aesthetic and a Lifestyle.

the first step to healing is being honest with yourself.

For me, that honesty often starts with what I wear — fashion as my armor, and expression as my freedom.

The only person who can truly understand you is you. We all carry our own inner demons and personal baggage. It’s tempting to retreat and isolate ourselves, to believe that solitude will keep us safe. But humans are tribal creatures at heart — we find comfort, joy, and understanding through connection with others.

We seek that connection in everything we do:

through music created by someone who once felt what we’re feeling,

through stories and art that remind us we’re not alone,

through conversations that let us exhale the weight we’ve been holding.

Despite being such social beings, so many of us live in quiet isolation — closed off, weighed down by unspoken pain.

But what if we lived in a world where it was okay to ask for help?

Where reaching out was seen not as weakness, but as courage?

Maybe mental health would be viewed not as something to be “fixed,” but as something to be nurtured.

In my own journey, learning to be gentle and honest with myself has been the foundation of healing.

It started simply — by wearing clothes that make me happy, regardless of trends or expectations.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve became more than just a style choice; it became my personal philosophy.

A reminder that authenticity is strength, and vulnerability is how we build connection.

By continuing to document my journey, I hope to encourage others to do the same —

to show up honestly, love themselves loudly, and live life unapologetically as they are.

What Am I Doing With All This Chaos?

So what am I doing with all this chaos and big dreams?

FINALLY I GET TO TALK BRAND GOALS 🤙✨

My content is more than streams and cosplays.

The goal is to build a living, breathing space for:

💬 Honest convos about mental health — no sugarcoating, just truth and care.

🎮 Gaming + cozy vibes — for night owls, background listeners, or anyone needing comfort noise at 2AM.

🎭 Creative expression — through storytelling, fashion, and character design.

🧠 Disability awareness — rooted in lived experience with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), because education shouldn’t be gatekept.

🌸 In honor of Mama Chibi, I’m launching a series that’s part mental health resource, part love letter —

for anyone who’s ever felt too broken to deserve happiness.
